When We MeetWe hold all our meetings in our meeting room at 1812 East Madison.
Thursdays (7-9 PM, weekly)Thursday night meetings have a drop-in format that is particularly open and helpful for newcomers. The meeting is also a social gathering, good for making friends and catching up with people. Saturdays (7:30-9:30 PM, first and fifth each month)Our first Saturday meeting each month we host Movie Night, with a different film each month on our big-screen TV! Popcorn is free, bring you own soda, and we supply dinner. For $5, you get dinner, a movie and friends to talk about both of them with. The fifth Saturday (for those months when there is one) is Surprise Saturday! Suzanne Adams has agreed to hostess these evenings. Be sure to come to see what the surprises might be. Past events have been things like shopping trips or ice cream socials, but you never know what we might come up with! Significant Others, Friends, Family and Interested Parties (7-9 PM, Fourth Tuesday of each month)Are you trying to support, understand, or cope with a transgendered loved one, friend or colleague? Is it your turn for a little peer support? Come with your questions and concerns to share with facilitators and the group. We are always considering new meeting ideas. If you know of a group that you'd like to see, please tell us! |
