How We Operate

Pacific Gender Support is run completely by volunteers. Our funding comes from donations, both by our members and by others who care about the needs of transgendered people. Every dollar we get goes directly into the operation of our meetings. Without community generosity, PGS would not exist. We welcome any contribution, and you have several easy ways to give.

PGS accepts donations through PayPal. To give through PayPal, all you need to do is click the button below.

Workplace Donations

Many companies will allow you to donate through them as part of charity drives. Quite a few of them will even offer matching funds to organizations you give to. Give through your company's payroll deduction system to take advantage of these funds and make your gift to PGS even more helpful!

For companies that have such a program (Microsoft, Boeing and others) simply fill in "Pacific Gender Institute" on your donation form. We are already prequalified for Microsoft. Use the mailing address listed below.

If your company doesn't match funds, or if you prefer to give through the United Way, the information they charges a 9 percent handling fee for processing). We also accept personal checks (made out to Pacific Gender Institute), which ensure that all your money goes directly to us. Finally, we can supply a bank account number for transfers if you or your company needs it.

All donations are tax deductible. Our treasurer will send you a letter when we receive your donation for your records and for tax purposes.
